Optics Letters, 2013We demonstrate circularly polarized coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering (CP-CARS) microscopy that significantly suppresses the nonresonant background for high-contrast vibrational imaging. Circularly polarized pump and Stokes fields with opposite handedness are used to excite CARS signal.
