Coherent Anti-Stokes Raman Scattering Miniaturized Microscope

2013
Microscopy techniques have been developed and refined over multiple decades, but innovation around single photon modalities has slowed. The advancement of the utility of information acquired, and minimum resolution available is seemingly reaching an asymptote.

Coherent Anti-Stokes Raman Scattering of Gases

1982
The first measurements involving Coherent Anti-Stokes Raman Scattering (CARS) in gases were by Rado (1967) [1], who determined the nonresonant susceptibilities of a number of gases by using a ruby laser and a H2 Stokes beam stimulated in a high pressure hydrogen cell.
