Coherent Anti-Stokes Raman Scattering
1981The possibility of carrying out temperature and concentration measurements in gases by a Raman spectroscopy analysis was suggested and demonstrated about a decade ago. Following some early publications on this subject [1,2], a massive effort was undertaken in order to evaluate the potential of spontaneous Raman scattering in the important areas of ...

Coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering in Raman lasers and Raman wavelength converters
Laser & Photonics Reviews, 2010AbstractIn this paper recent research progress on the use of Coherent Anti‐Stokes Raman Scattering (CARS) in Raman lasers and Raman wavelength converters is reviewed. The latest insights in the physical nature and behavior of CARS are addressed, and the recent performance breakthroughs in CARS‐based Raman wavelength conversion are discussed.

Coherent Stokes Raman Scattering (CSRS) Microscopy
Optica Imaging Congress 2024 (3D, AOMS, COSI, ISA, pcAOP)I report about the first implementation of laser scanning coherent Stokes Raman scattering (CSRS) microscopy and show how to suppress the fluorescence background. In a second part, I will explain CSRS’ potential for direct backscattering.
