Realization of non-linear coherent states by photonic lattices
In this paper, first, by introducing Holstein-Primakoff representation of α-deformed algebra, we achieve the associated non-linear coherent states, including su(2) and su(1, 1) coherent states.

Matrix Geometry and Coherent States [PDF]
We propose a novel method of finding the classical limit of the matrix geometry. We define coherent states for a general matrix geometry described by a large-$N$ sequence of $D$ Hermitian matrices ${X}_{\ensuremath{\mu}}(\ensuremath{\mu}=1,2,\dots{},D ...

Composable security proof for continuous-variable quantum key distribution with coherent States. [PDF]
We give the first composable security proof for continuous-variable quantum key distribution with coherent states against collective attacks. Crucially, in the limit of large blocks the secret key rate converges to the usual value computed from the ...

Modelling stem cell differentiation related processes—A practical overview for biologists
Stem cell differentiation is complex and difficult to control experimentally. This review introduces suitable computational modelling approaches that can support stem cell research, from mechanistic ODE and abstract models to multiscale and deep learning methods.

Generalized squeezed states from generalized coherent states [PDF]
Both the coherent states and also the squeezed states of the harmonic oscillator have long been understood from the three classical points of view: the (1) displacement operator, (2) annihilation- (or ladder-) operator, and (3) minimum-uncertainty ...

Coherent States for infinite homogeneous waveguide arrays: Cauchy coherent states for $E(2)$ [PDF]
Perelomov coherent states for equally spaced, infinite homogeneous waveguide arrays with Euclidean E(2) symmetry are defined, and a new resolution of the identity is obtained.

Coherent states on Hilbert modules [PDF]
We generalize the concept of coherent states, traditionally defined as special families of vectors on Hilbert spaces, to Hilbert modules. We show that Hilbert modules over C*-algebras are the natural settings for a generalization of coherent states ...

Preparation and coherent manipulation of pure quantum states of a single molecular ion [PDF]
Laser cooling and trapping of atoms and atomic ions has led to advances including the observation of exotic phases of matter, the development of precision sensors and state-of-the-art atomic clocks.

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

A reformulation of Rawnsley’s Kahlerian coherent states (in the framework of geometric quantization) is used in order to investigate the interplay between their local and global properties (projective embeddings) and the relationship with Klauder quantization (via path integrals and the introduction of a metric on the classical phase space).
