The relative entropy measure quantifying coherence, a key property of quantum system, is proposed recently. In this note, we firstly investigate structural characterization of maximally coherent states with respect to the relative entropy measure. It is shown that mixed maximally coherent states do not exist and every pure maximally coherent state has ...

Graphene generalized coherent states [PDF]
In this paper we construct the generalized coherent states for an electron in monolayer or bilayer graphene placed in an external magnetic field. At first we define an appropriate set of ladder operators acting on the eigenfunctions for each Hamiltonian,

Nonclassicalities of two-mode photon‑added coherent states
One of the most promising nonclassical states in the context of quantum optics are hybrid coherent states, which include a combination of coherent states and single-photon-added coherent states.

Partial Recovery of Coherence Loss in Coherence-Assisted Transformation
Coherence-assisted transformation under incoherent operations is discussed. For transformation from the pure state to the mixed state, we show that the coherence loss can be partially recovered by adding auxiliary coherent states.

Analysis of imperfections in the coherent optical excitation of single atoms to Rydberg states [PDF]
We study experimentally various physical limitations and technical imperfections that lead to damping and finite contrast of optically driven Rabi oscillations between ground and Rydberg states of a single atom.

Entangled coherent states by mixing squeezed vacuum and coherent light [PDF]
Entangled coherent states are shown to emerge, with high fidelity, when mixing coherent and squeezed vacuum states of light on a beam-splitter.

Optical tomography for excited coherent states associated to deformed oscillators
In this manuscript, we study the deformed optical tomography for excited coherent states associated to deformed Heisenberg algebra. By using the numerical solution of the recurrence relation, we evaluate the eigenstates of the deformed quadrature ...

Generalization of group-theoretic coherent states for variational calculations
We introduce families of pure quantum states that are constructed on top of the well-known Gilmore-Perelomov group-theoretic coherent states. We do this by constructing unitaries as the exponential of operators quadratic in Cartan subalgebra elements and

Coherent control of macroscopic quantum states in a single-Cooper-pair box [PDF]
A nanometre-scale superconducting electrode connected to a reservoir via a Josephson junction constitutes an artificial two-level electronic system: a single-Cooper-pair box.

Faithful coherent states [PDF]
We propose the notion of faithful coherent states based on the fidelity-based coherence witness. The criterion for detecting faithful coherent states can be restricted to a subclass of fidelity-based criterion under unitary transformations for single and
