Coincidence condition of two Bézier curves of an arbitrary degree

Computers and Graphics, 2016
This paper discusses the coincidence condition of two Bezier curves of the same degree, which is necessary for a curve/curve intersection algorithm. It proves that two Bezier curves of the same degree are coincident with each other if and only if they have a coincident control polygon or they can be reparameterized into the same non-reparameterizable ...

Coincidence degree and periodic solutions of Duffing equations

Nonlinear Analysis: Theory, Methods & Applications, 1998
The authors consider the following Duffing equation with delay argument: \[ \ddot x(t)+ m^2\dot x+ g(x(t- \tau))= p(t), \] where \(\tau\) is a nonnegative constant, \(m\) is a positive integer, \(g(x)\) is bounded and \(p(t)\) is \(2\pi\)-periodic in \(t\). Sufficient conditions which ensure solvability of the periodic problem are given.

Coincidence degreee and coincidence theorems for fuzzy mappings

Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 1988
The concept of coincidence degree and some coincidence theorems for fuzzy mappings are introduced and established. The results generalize and unify previous results of the author and give a fuzzy generalization of the famous Kakutani-Ky Fan theorem.

Community discovery algorithm based on coincidence degree

Proceedings of 2011 International Conference on Computer Science and Network Technology, 2011
Community structure is a structure characteristics commonly exists in all types of real network. To find out community in the network play an important role in understanding the function and behavior of the network. But the real network is changing all the time, the number of network community is changing with it, this characteristics is considered in ...

On the topological coincidence degree for perturbations of Fredholm operators [PDF]

open access: yes, 1980
We construct an orientation on the space of all Fredholm operators of index 0 and use it in order to define a coincidence degree for nonlinear compact perturbations of linear Fredholm operators.

Calculation Method of Laser Spot Coincidence Degree of Laser Micro Machining

Advanced Materials Research, 2015
Laser micro machining is one of modern precision machining methods, which has significance on the modern manufacturing. The solid-state pulse laser (YAG) is processed by overlapped laser spots to remove material from a surface. Through studying the single pit with single pulse laser, the paper proposes two parts-melted part and molten pool and three ...

Mawhin’s Coincidence Degree [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
This appendix is devoted to the coincidence degree. First we recall the classical coincidence degree theory introduced by J. Mawhin for open and bounded sets in a normed linear space.

Spectral clustering eigenvector selection of hyperspectral image based on the coincidence degree of data distribution [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Digital Earth, 2023
Spectral clustering is a well-regarded subspace clustering algorithm that exhibits outstanding performance in hyperspectral image classification through eigenvalue decomposition of the Laplacian matrix.
