Hybrid Liquid Metal Cathode Enables High‐Performance Intrinsically Stretchable OLEDs

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We report a hybrid liquid metal (Hyb‐LM) cathode engineered via selective rupture of liquid metal particles (LMPs), forming a bilayer architecture with a surface liquid metal (LM) layer and underlying LMP layer, which has benefits of both LM and LMPs.

Recurrences in three-state quantum walks on a plane

open access: yes, 2010
We analyze the role of dimensionality in the time evolution of discrete time quantum walks through the example of the three-state walk on a two-dimensional, triangular lattice.

Data‐Driven Cation Engineering Guides Electrolyte Design for Sustainable Aqueous Zinc Battery Chemistries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
To address the persistent challenges of vanadium dissolution and capacity fading in zinc‐ion batteries, we introduce a cation‐engineered electrolyte strategy underpinned by a data‐driven framework. This approach efficiently and reliably predicts a Na+‐Mg2+‐Zn2+ tri‐cation electrolyte with well‐balanced and sustainable advantages, enabling Zn/VOx ...

Tailor‐Made Protective LixAlSy Layer for Lithium Anodes to Enhance the Stability of Solid‐State Lithium–Sulfur Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
An intentionally added, chemically formed LixAlSy coating stabilizes the lithium–electrolyte interface in solid‐state Li–S batteries. The layer suppresses side reactions, preserves smooth charge transfer, and improves ion transport from the start. This approach offers a practical route to more durable solid‐state batteries and a clearer understanding ...

Tin Oxide‐Anchored MXene Composites for Enhanced Hydrogen Evolution in Alkaline Media

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
The schematic illustrates a SnO2/MXene heterostructure for efficient hydrogen evolution. SnO2 nanoparticles are uniformly anchored on conductive MXene nanosheets, enhancing charge transfer and catalytic activity. The MXene substrate provides high electrical conductivity and abundant active sites, while SnO2 facilitates water adsorption and dissociation.

On the recognizability of money [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper develops a model of currency circulation under asymmetric information. Agents are heterogeneous and trade in bilateral matches. Coins are intrinsically valuable and are available in two weights, light and heavy. We characterize the equilibrium

Random Networks Tossing Biased Coins

open access: yes, 2007
In statistical mechanical investigations on complex networks, it is useful to employ random graphs ensembles as null models, to compare with experimental realizations.

Multiscale Imaging Methodology for Surface Morphological Changes in Lithium Metal Anode Using Coupled Operando OM and In Situ EC‐AFM

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
A sequential multiscale imaging methodology integrates operando optical microscopy with in situ electrochemical atomic force microscopy to characterize lithium anode surface evolution during galvanostatic cycling under dual current densities. This unified approach enhances measurement consistency through correlative micro‐to‐nanoscale visualization ...

Част от колективна находка със златни и сребърни монети от ХVІ – ХVІІ в. от фонда на НИМ – София

open access: yesПриноси към българската археология, 2019
In 1991, somewhere in Botevgrad locality, treasure hunters discovered with the aid of a metal detector an interesting hoard of gold and silver coins dating to the 16th – early 17th c. Unfortunately the hoard was quickly scattered and the coins were sold
