Biomimetic Fibrinogen Nanofiber Scaffolds for Vascular Hematopoietic Stem Cell Niche Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents an advanced in vitro model of the vascular hematopoietic stem cell niche using self‐assembled fibrinogen nanofibers, mimicking the basement membrane in bone marrow (BM) sinusoids. The model supports the coculture of microvascular endothelial cells, stromal cells, and hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells, providing insights into ...

Living Materials Approach for In Situ Bio‐Polymers Production Using Bacillus Paralicheniformis in Microneedles

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Dissolvable microneedle (MN) device containing Bacillus paralicheniformis. The polymeric matrix encapsulates and protects the bacteria, preserving their viability while enabling in situ production and release of γ‐polyglutamic acid. The bacteria are delivered into the skin via 500 µm‐long microneedles, and remain detectable on the skin 24 h post ...

Hot-dark matter, cold dark matter and accelerating universe

open access: yes, 2006
The Friedman equation is solved for a universe contains hotdark matter and cold dark matter. In this scenario, hot-dark matter drives an accelerating universe no cold dark matter.

Cosmological evolution of matter with interacting dust fluids

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
We split the total matter fluid into a bound (halo) component and an unbound (free particles) fluid component that is accreted by the halos. We adopt a different framework that treats the structure formation problem as a gravitational interaction between

Targeting the ARRDC3–DRP1 Axis via hUMSC‐Derived Exosomal CRYAB for Neuroprotection in Cerebral Ischemia/Reperfusion Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Intranasally administered hUMSC‐derived exosomes modulate the CRYAB–ARRDC3–Drp1 axis, alleviating mitochondrial dysfunction and ferroptosis, enhancing neuronal survival, reducing oxidative stress, and promoting functional recovery in ischemia‐reperfusion injury, offering a promising therapeutic strategy for ischemic stroke.

On a Critical Acceleration Scale of Dark Matter in ΛCDM and Dynamical Dark Energy

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
Universal acceleration a _0 emerges in various empirical laws, yet its fundamental nature remains unclear. Using Illustris and Virgo N -body simulations, we focus on the velocity and acceleration fluctuations in collisionless dark matter involving long ...
