The nanostructure, size, and function of mRNA‐loaded lipid nanoparticles are evaluated before drying, within polymer microneedles, and after rehydration. The results reveal the polymer and LNP loadings required to recover nanostructure and preserve the delivery performance in dry‐state formulations.

Ion stopping in dense plasma target for high energy density physics [PDF]
The basic physics of nonrelativistic and electromagnetic ion stopping in hot and ionized plasma targets is thoroughly updated. Corresponding projectile-target interactions involve enhanced projectile ionization and coupling with target free electrons ...

The role of wave-particle interactions in cold and warm plasma heating
Cold plasma originating from the ionosphere is a highly influential component of the magnetosphere, dominating its mass. It is typically treated as a passive background represented as an empirical density in models of the ring current, outer radiation ...

Electroforming‐free TiN/SiOx/Cu/SiOx/TiN memristive devices exploit pancake‐like Cu nanoparticles embedded in a SiOx double layer to create a heterogeneous Schottky‐barrier landscape. Under bias, oxygen‐vacancy redistribution progressively lowers local barriers and recruits initially inactive Cu‐PC pathways into a parallel conduction ensemble, enabling

Cold Atmospheric Plasma Treatment of Steel Buoys for Wave Energy Converters [PDF]
Steel sheets used for ocean buoys in the linear wave energy converters have been treated by cold atmospheric plasmas in Ar, Ne, and the wet air. The contact angle has decreased from about 48 degrees at an untreated surface to a minimum of about 248 ...
