Precise Construction of an Antimicrobial Peptide Targeting Bacterial Cell Membranes Derived From Natural Peptides

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An AMP (P 3‐3R‐8I) based on natural peptides, which can target bacterial cell membranes, was precisely constructed via amino acid mutation. P 3‐3R‐8I exhibits antibacterial capability which could be attributed to the ability of P 3‐3R‐8I to quickly penetrate bacterial cell membranes and then to bind to bacterial DNA.

One‐Step Coaxial 3D Printing of Pre‐Vascularized Skin Organoid Models with ADSC Microspheres for Enhanced Wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A multifunctional vascular bed platform is created using coaxial 3D printing, allowing the one‐step integration of organoid microspheres with perfusable vascular structures. This strategy enables rapid and functional vascularization of organoids to support tissue repair and vascularization, providing a scalable and translationally promising approach ...

Osteoclast‐Derived SLIT3 Mediates Osteoarthritis Pain and Degenerative Changes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In TMJ‐OA, osteoclasts play a significant role in promoting the growth of sensory nerves at the osteochondral interface. In early OA, TRAP+ osteoclast‐derived SLIT3 induces sensory nerve growth into the condylar cartilage. This nerve growth facilitates the development of pain associated with OA.

Photothermal–Immunomodulatory Hydrogel Reinforced by Ti3C2/ZnAl‐LDH Nanoplatform for Eradicating MRSA and Promoting Diabetic Wound Healing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A NETs‐inspired Ti3C2/LDH hydrogel integrates trapping, ROS boosting, and M2‐immunomodulation for MRSA‐infected wound repair. ABSTRACT MRSA infections give rise to chronic cutaneous and advance into profound tissue invasions, including osteomyelitis and sepsis—conditions for which existing clinical interventions offer only limited efficacy. The utility

Substituent‐Based Modulation of Self‐Assembly and Immunogenicity of Amphipathic Peptides

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study systematically investigates how positional and subtle changes, such as substituents on the phenyl ring attached to short amphipathic peptides, influence their self‐assembly, fibril morphology, and immunogenic responses. ABSTRACT Self‐assembled peptide‐based biomaterials provide versatile platforms for biomedical uses, featuring customizable ...

Microgel‐Based Hierarchical Porous Hydrogel Patch with Adhesion and Resilience for Myocardial Infarction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study develops a hierarchically porous hydrogel patch strategy (HPMP), based on gas‐shearing microfluidics and an aqueous two‐phase system to fabricate porous microgels as microgel‐based bioinks. The porous microgels with controllable porous structure exhibit excellent cellular behavior.

A Biomimetic Norepinephrine‐Loaded Aligned Mineralized Collagen Scaffold for Coordinated Neurovascular, Osteogenic, and Immunomodulatory Repair of Critical‐Sized Bone Defects

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Inspired by the composition and structure of native bone tissue and its complex interplay of biological signals, a norepinephrine‐loaded biomimetic mineralized electrocompacted collagen scaffold (NE‐MEC) is developed capable of simultaneously supporting osteogenesis, neural repair, angiogenesis, and immune modulation.
