Microscopic description of β-band in the collective pair approximation
Nuclear Physics A, 1983Abstract The collective pair approximation, previously used in the description of the ground-state band in deformed nuclei, is extended to the description of the β-band. This is obtained by promoting to an excited state one of the basic pairs defining the ground-state condensate in the intrinsic frame. The microscopic structure of the excited pair is

On the quadrupole collectivity in the yrast band of 168Yb
Nuclear Physics A, 2017The lifetimes of eight lower spin levels of the yrast band in 168Yb, populated via the 154Sm(18O,4n) and 124Sn(48Ca,4n) reactions, were measured, six of them for the first time, by means of the recoil-distance Doppler-shift method. Two versions of the differential decay-curve method have been applied for the data analysis resulting in a very good ...

Collective bands in odd–odd 118I
Nuclear Physics A, 2003Abstract The excited states of the doubly-odd nucleus 118 I were investigated by using in-beam gamma-ray spectroscopy with the 103 Rh ( 18 O, 3n) 118 I reaction at an energy of 85 MeV. The beam was provided by the 12UD tandem accelerator at the University of Tsukuba.

Structure of the collective bands in the 185Au nucleus
Nuclear Physics A, 1979Abstract High-spin levels in 185 Au have been populated via the 175 Lu( 16 O, 6n), 170 Yb( 19 F, 4n) and 165 Ho( 24 Mg, 4n) reactions. Rotation-aligned bands built on proton states originating from the h 11 2 , h 9 2 and i 13 2 sub-shells have been identified.

Search for collective and non-collective band structures in $^{123}$Xe
2017The nuclei in the mass region A ≃125 lie between the spherical Sn nuclei(Z=50) and strongly deformed Ce nuclei(Z=58) and are therefore, transitional with respect to their shapes at low and high angular momenta. In this mass region, there exists a unique parity intruder orbital h11/2 which is accessible to both the protons and neutrons.

Collective Behaviour of the Diffuse Interstellar Bands
1995This is a review of the properties of the DIBs in relation to the different interstellar environments in which their carriers are located. It starts with a general survey of conditions in different regions of the interstellar medium. Comparisons of DIBs with each other show that there are considerable variations in relative strengths of absorption, but
