Collective Excitations and Ground State Correlations
A generalized RPA formalism is presented which treats pp and ph correlations on an equal footing. The effect of these correlations on the single-particle Green function is discussed and it is demonstrated that a self-consistent treatment of the single ...

Dormant cancer cells can hide in distant organs for years, evading treatment and the immune system. This review highlights how signals from the surrounding tissue and immune environment keep these cells inactive or trigger their reawakening. Understanding these mechanisms may help develop therapies to eliminate or control dormant cells and prevent ...

Divergent features of collective gravitational quantum excitations
In this research, we study different aspects of collective gravitational quantum excitations in the framework of the quantum multistream model. The energy dispersion of collective electrostatic (plasmon) and gravitational excitations or as we call ...

Symmetries and Collective Excitations in Large Superconducting Circuits
In this work, we present theoretical tools suitable for quantitative modeling of large superconducting circuits that include one-dimensional Josephson-junction arrays.

The inhibition of mitochondrial dihydroorotate dehydrogenase (DHODH) impairs syncytialization and induces cellular senescence via mitochondrial and endoplasmic reticulum stress in human trophoblast stem cells, elevating sFlt1/PlGF levels, a hallmark of placental dysfunction in hypertensive disorders of pregnancy.

Local Symmetries and Order-Disorder Transitions in Small Macroscopic Wigner Islands
The influence of local order on the disordering scenario of small Wigner islands is discussed. A first disordering step is put in evidence by the time correlation functions and is linked to individual excitations resulting in configuration transitions ...

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Collective modes as a probe of imbalanced Fermi gases
We theoretically investigate the collective modes of imbalanced two component one-dimensional Fermi gases with attractive interactions. This is done for trapped and untrapped systems both at zero and non-zero temperature, using self-consistent mean-field

ERα splice variant ERα∆7 lacks the C‐terminus, and its expression may change phenotypes of breast cancers. Our results showed that ERα∆7 is found in the luminal A subtype, and elevated ERα∆7 levels are linked to improved cell survival with lower proliferation and migration.

Digital twins to accelerate target identification and drug development for immune‐mediated disorders
Digital twins integrate patient‐derived molecular and clinical data into personalised computational models that simulate disease mechanisms. They enable rapid identification and validation of therapeutic targets, prediction of drug responses, and prioritisation of candidate interventions.
