A Dual-Scaffolding Framework Integrating Peer-Scaffolding and Cognitive-Scaffolding for an Augmented Reality-Based Educational Board Game: An Analysis of Learners’ Collective Flow State and Collaborative Learning Behavioral Patterns

Journal of educational computing research, 2020
The design and application of educational board games have been emphasized in game-based learning. The integration of educational board games and augmented reality (AR) can help provide extensive cognitive-scaffolding for learners.

Rethinking Machine Learning Collective Communication as a Multi-Commodity Flow Problem

Conference on Applications, Technologies, Architectures, and Protocols for Computer Communication, 2023
Cloud operators utilize collective communication optimizers to enhance the efficiency of the single-tenant, centrally managed training clusters they manage.

On Individual and Collective Flow

Bulletin de la Classe des sciences, 1962
The Boltzmann-like approach to traffic flow leads to a singularity in the speed distribution function at a critical concentration. It is then shown that there exist two flow regimes which may be described as an individual flow regime and a collective flow regime.

Light‐Induced Cold Marangoni Flow for Microswarm Actuation: From Intelligent Behaviors to Collective Drug Delivery

Laser & Photonics Reviews, 2022
Microswarms have shown great potential in biomedical applications at small scales due to their features of wireless actuation and collective microrobotic behaviors.

Collective flow and hydrodynamics in large and small systems at the LHC

Nuclear Science and Techniques, 2017
In this article, we briefly review the recent progress on collective flow and hydrodynamics in large and small systems at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), which includes the following topics: extracting the QGP viscosity from the flow data, initial-state

Transverse hydrodynamics of collective pion flow

Physical Review C, 1989
We investigate the low {ital p}{sub {ital T}} features of the transverse momentum distribution for pions in relativistic heavy-ion collisions from the NA35 collaboration. Contrary to recent claims, we find that collective hydrodynamic flow cannot account for the experimental low {ital p}{sub {ital T}} shape of the pion transverse momentum distribution.

Collective flow-evolutionary patterns reveal the mesoscopic structure between snapshots of spatial network

International Journal of Geographical Information Science
Uncovering the collective behavior of flows among locations is critical to understanding the structure within an ever-changing spatial network. When a network evolves, there may exist subgraphs within which the internal flows generally follow a rule: the

Mass Dependence of Directed Collective Flow

Physical Review Letters, 1996
The determination of the equation of state of nuclear matter is one of the main objectives of relativistic heavy-ion physics. Insight into the equation of state has been gained through the study of collective phenomena, which can be attributed to the response of hot and dense nuclear matter from the hot and dense region formed by the overlap of ...

Isospin dependence of collective flow

Nuclear Physics A, 1999
Nuclear collective flow in heavy-ion collisions at intermediate energies has been studied in an isospin-dependent transport model. It is found that both the sign and strength of collective flow are significantly affected by the isospin asymmetry of the colliding system.
