Future Circular Collider: Integrated Programme and Feasibility Study

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics, 2022
The Future Circular Collider (FCC) Integrated Project foresees, in a first stage, a high-luminosity high-energy electron-positron collider, serving as Higgs, top and electroweak factory, and, in a second stage, an energy frontier hadron collider, with a ...

Prospects of a future multi-TeV muon collider

open access: yesSciPost Physics Proceedings, 2022
A multi-TeV muon collider is a discovery machine and an invaluable tool for many new standard model precision measurements such as the shape of the Higgs boson potential.

Pion and kaon structure at the electron-ion collider [PDF]

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal A, 2019
.Understanding the origin and dynamics of hadron structure and in turn that of atomic nuclei is a central goal of nuclear physics. This challenge entails the questions of how does the roughly 1GeV mass-scale that characterizes atomic nuclei appear; why ...

Radiative corrections to the semileptonic and hadronic Higgs-boson decays H -> W W/Z Z -> 4 fermions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
The radiative corrections of the strong and electroweak interactions are calculated for the Higgs-boson decays H -> WW/ZZ -> 4f with semileptonic or hadronic four-fermion final states in next-to-leading order. This calculation is improved by higher-order

Linear Collider Physics [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
Studies of the physics potential of the Future Linear Collider are establishing a broad programme which will start in the region of 350 to 500 GeV C. of M. energy. The main goal is to understand why the standard model works; by studying the properties of

The International Linear Collider

open access: yes, 2013
In this article, we describe the key features of the recently completed technical design for the International Linear Collider (ILC), a 200-500 GeV linear electron-positron collider (expandable to 1 TeV) that is based on 1.3 GHz superconducting radio ...

Detecting and Studying Higgs Bosons [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
I review the ability of the LHC (large hadron collider), NLC (next linear lepton collider) and FMC (first muon collider) to detect and study Higgs bosons, with emphasis on the Higgs bosons of extended Higgs sectors, especially those of the minimal ...

Multidimensional OMICs reveal ARID1A orchestrated control of DNA damage, splicing, and cell cycle in normal‐like and malignant urothelial cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the frequently mutated chromatin remodeler ARID1A, a subunit of the SWI/SNF cBAF complex, results in less open chromatin, alternative splicing, and the failure to stop cells from progressing through the cell cycle after DNA damage in bladder (cancer) cells. Created in BioRender. Epigenetic regulators, such as the SWI/SNF complex, with important

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.
