Néel Tensor Torque in Polycrystalline Antiferromagnets
This work introduces a Néel tensor torque based on a rank‐two symmetric tensor capturing spin correlations in a polycrystalline antiferromagnet. It shows the Néel tensor can be shaped and reshaped through the spin‐orbit torque (SOT) technique, enabling field‐free SOT switching with a specific polarity of the adjacent ferromagnet. This discovery opens a

Numerical limitations of the attainment of the orientation of geological planes
The paper discusses limitations of analytical attainment of the attitude of a geological plane by using three non-collinear points. We present problems that arise during computing the orientation of a plane generated by almost collinear points.

Strain Engineering of Magnetoresistance and Magnetic Anisotropy in CrSBr
Biaxial compressive strain significantly enhances magnetoresistance and critical saturation fields in thin flakes of the 2D magnet CrSBr, along all three crystallographic axes. First‐principles calculations link these effects to strain‐induced increases in exchange interactions and magnetic anisotropy.

Recovering the Lie algebra from its extremal geometry
An element $x$ of a Lie algebra $L$ over the field $F$ is extremal if $[x,[x,L]]=Fx$. Under minor assumptions, it is known that, for a simple Lie algebra $L$, the extremal geometry ${\cal{E}}(L)$ is a subspace of the projective geometry of $L$ and either

Remorphable Architectures: Reprogramming Global Bistability through Locally Bistable Metamaterials
Local bistable reconfiguration in mechanical metamaterials is leveraged in globally bistable architectures to enable in situ reprogrammable transition pathways through state flip of individual building blocks. The local‐to‐global correspondence of instabilities empowers soft robotic systems with on‐demand morphing traits, as well as aerospace ...

Giant Berry‐phase‐Driven X‐Ray Beam Translations in Strain‐Engineered Semiconductor Crystals
Due to the Berry‐phase effect, X‐rays propagating in deformed crystals undergo large translations, interesting for X‐ray optics applications. Here, the lattice expansion observed upon H irradiation of dilute‐nitride semiconductors is exploited to engineer the deformation landscape of selectively hydrogenated GaAsN epilayers.
