“Seeing” Periodic Structures Emerge: Ultrafast Bright‐ and Dark‐Field Microscopy During Femtosecond Laser Interference Patterning of Silicon

We report an ultrafast bright‐ and dark‐field pump‐probe microscopy technique combined with an interference patterning system to imprint amorphous and ablative line‐like structures with micrometer period in crystalline silicon using single femtosecond laser pulses.

Study on the Shape Memory Performance of 4D‐Printed Auxetic Cellular Structures with Energy Absorption Application

4D‐printed auxetic cellular structures made from PETG demonstrate almost complete recovery of shape and mechanical properties after repeated loading. Two strategies successfully addressed the low shape‐fixity issue, the primary limitation of cold programming.
