Unveiling the Aging Effect at the Interface of N719 Dye‐Sensitized Solar Cells
Iodide is incorporated into the N719 layer through two mechanisms: the known ligand exchange of NCS with I and a second yet unknown mechanism which significantly blocks the charge regeneration process of the N719 dye contributing to the cell degradation.

A Quantum-Resistant Photonic Hash Function [PDF]
We propose a quantum hash function based on Gaussian boson sampling on a photonic quantum computer, aiming to provide quantum-resistant security. Extensive simulations demonstrate that this hash function exhibits strong properties of preimage, second preimage, and collision resistance, which are essential for cryptographic applications.

The research focuses on the interaction between the magnetic DyPc2 molecules and the superconducting Pb(111) surface. A complex quantum spin system is observed in both DyPc2 molecules embedded in the self‐assembled monolayer and those scattered atop it, where Kondo screening and superconducting pairing coexist and compete.

This study investigates the antifungal efficacy of ultrashort pulsed laser‐induced periodic surface structures (USP‐DLIP) on copper, brass, and steel surfaces. Using Aspergillus niger as a model, the research highlights a 99% reduction in spore viability on 9 µm structured copper surfaces due to enhanced copper ion release. Scanning electron microscopy

Chosen-Prefix Collisions on AES-like Hashing
Chosen-prefix collision (CPC) attack was first presented by Stevens, Lenstra and de Weger on MD5 at Eurocrypt 2007. A CPC attack finds a collision for any two chosen prefixes, which is a stronger variant of collision attack. CPCs are naturally harder to

Nitrogen doping on Ru(0001) is investigated using ion implantation and annealing, tuning the distribution of graphitic (GN) and pyridinic (PN) nitrogen sites. STM, XPS, and DFT identified the structure and site distribution, and a thermodynamic phase diagram showed that GN is most stable at the Atop region, while PN preferred boundaries between FCC and
