Contrast Affects the Strength of Synesthetic Colors
Grapheme-color synesthesia is an automatic, involuntary experience of seeing colors when viewing numbers, letters or words on a printed page. Previous research has demonstrated that synesthesia is a genuine perceptual phenomenon, but crucially, all of these experiments have used high-contrast letters and numbers.

Quark confinement and color transparency in a gauge-invariant formulation of QCD [PDF]
We examine a nonlocal interaction that results from expressing the QCD Hamiltonian entirely in terms of gauge-invariant quark and gluon fields. The interaction couples one quark color-charge density to another, much as electric charge densities are ...

Minimal coloring and strength of graphs
A proper vertex coloring \(c\) of a graph \(G\) using colors \(1,2,\dots\) is said to be minimal if \(\sum_{v\in V(G)} c(v)\) is minimum among all vertex colorings of \(G\). The vertex strength of \(G\), denoted by \(s(G)\), is the smallest number of colors needed to obtain a minimal coloring of \(G\). (The edge strength of \(G\), denoted by \(s'(G)\),

Impact of mechanical and microstructural properties of potato puree-food additive complexes on extrusion-based 3D printing [PDF]
This paper studies the applicability of extrusion-based 3D printing for constructing novel shapes from potato puree and the effects of four additives (agar, alginate, lecithin, and glycerol) added separately at three concentrations (0.5, 1, 1.5%) on the ...
