We propose a novel method to synthesize a noise- and blur-free color image sequence using near-infrared (NIR) images captured in extremely low light conditions. In extremely low light scenes, heavy noise and motion blur are simultaneously produced in the captured images.

Abstract The poor coloration of nethouse-grown fig fruit (Ficus carica L.) due to insufficient sunlight stimulation reduces marketability and health value. This study examined the possibility of improving the color of harvested ‘Brown Turkey’ figs through the use of pulsed light (PL) emitted by a high-energy xenon flash lamp.

AbstractCataract is the major cause for legal blindness in the world. Oxidative stress on the lens epithelial cells (hLECs) is the most important factor in cataract formation. Cumulative light‐exposure from widely used light‐emitting diodes (LEDs) may pose a potential oxidative threat to the lens epithelium, due to the high‐energy blue light component ...

Persistent blue light exposure has been increasingly recognized as a significant factor influencing melanocyte activity and contributing to hyperpigmentation, particularly in individuals with skin of color. Blue light, a high-energy visible (HEV) light spectrum emitted by digital devices, artificial lighting, and sunlight, penetrates deeper into the ...
