Algebraic Models for Contextual Nets

open access: yes, 2000
We extend the algebraic approach of Meseguer and Montanari from ordinary place/transition Petri nets to contextual nets, covering both the collective and the individual token philosophy uniformly along the two interpretations of net ...

Properties of Distributed Time Arc Petri Nets

open access: yes, 2001
In recent work we started a research on a distributed-timed extension of Petri nets where time parameters are associated with tokens and arcs carry constraints that qualify the age of tokens required for enabling.

A method for enterprise architecture validation with colored Petri Nets [PDF]

open access: yesManagement Science Letters, 2012
Architecture includes so many documents where each describes one part of an enterprise. The problem in using such descriptions is on how to consider and use all components.

Multifunctional Nanovaccine‐Radiotherapy Synergy Drives Anti‐Tumor Immunity via Multi‐Cascade Cell Death for Pancreatic Cancer Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Machine‐learning‐driven transcriptomic analysis identifies FSTL3 as a key tumor‐microenvironment regulator in desmoplastic pancreatic adenocarcinoma. A cRGD‐modified liposome co‐loading gemcitabine and siFSTL3 serves as an irradiation‐triggered in situ nanovaccine. It synergizes with radiotherapy to induce ferroptosis and immunogenic cell death through

The PN-PEM framework: a Petri Net based parallel execution model

open access: yesJournal of Computer Science and Technology, 2015
This paper introduces the PN-PEM framework. It is based on the representation of an algorithm with Petri Nets. Frequently, a real algorithm needs a large Petri Net to be represented.

SOX30 Facilitates Triple‐Negative Breast Cancer Metastasis via TNFR2–NF‐κB Signaling and Tumor Microenvironment Remodeling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
SOX30 drives triple‐negative breast cancer (TNBC) metastasis through a dual mechanism: direct activation of the TNFR2/NF‐κB signaling cascade and subsequent CCL20‐mediated recruitment of tumor‐associated macrophages (TAMs) into the tumor microenvironment.

Spatiotemporally Controlled Sequential Chemo‐Immunotherapy Activates Pyroptosis for Robust Anti‐Tumor Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A glutathione and ultrasound dual‐responsive cerasome achieves sequential co‐delivery of gemcitabine and BMS1166 in tumors. Chemotherapy priming followed by on‐demand PD‐L1 blockade synergistically amplifies anti‐tumor immunity, inhibiting primary tumor growth, distant metastasis and inducing durable immune memory.

Intermolecular Carbon–Carbon Naphthalene Coupling Involves a Radical Mechanism Driven by Cytochrome P450 in Alternaria alternata

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
1,8‐DHN is an important intermediate to form complex aromatic ring systems. Phenol‐coupling reactions are important for the dimerization of two molecules. Here, we show that a fungal cytochrome P450 enzyme catalyzes specific C─C bonds. ABSTRACT Dihydroxynaphthalene (DHN) derivatives are precursors of biologically important molecules, including melanin ...

Access Control Verification in Smart Contracts Using Colored Petri Nets

open access: yesComputers
This paper presents an approach for the verification of access control in smart contracts written in the Digital Asset Modeling Language (DAML). The approach utilizes Colored Petri Nets (CPNs) and their analysis tool CPN Tools. It is a model-driven-based

Plant Metabolites Screening Identifies 7‐epi‐10‐Deacetyltaxol Inhibiting Cell Division by Interfering With the Cell Cycle and Microtubule Organization

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this study, an efficient screening system is developed for plant metabolites to find a compound, 7‐epi‐10‐deacetyltaxol, inhibits tissue elongation. It suppresses plant growth through brassinosteroid and microtubule pathways. It is later applied to animal cells and human tumor organoids, resulting in similar cell division suppression. These findings
