Reliability Evaluation Based on the Colored Petri Net Converted from AADL Models for the Wheel Brake System of Aircraft

open access: yesAerospace, 2023
Traditional reliability analysis methods such as Reliability Block Diagram, Fault Tree Analysis, and Markov Analysis are all subjective methods whose results significantly depend on the analysts’ skills and experiences.

On the Computation of Stubborn Sets of Colored Petri Nets [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
Valmari’s Stubborn Sets method is a member of the so-called partial order methods. These techniques are usually based on a selective search algorithm: at each state processed during the search, a stubborn set is calculated and only the enabled transitions of this set are used to generate the successors of the state.

The Impact of Petri Nets on System-of-Systems Engineering [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
The successful engineering of a large-scale system-of-systems project towards deterministic behaviour depends on integrating autonomous components using international communications standards in accordance with dynamic requirements.

Mapping RT-LOTOS specifications into Time Petri Nets [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
RT-LOTOS is a timed process algebra which enables compact and abstract specification of real-time systems. This paper proposes and illustrates a structural translation of RT-LOTOS terms into behaviorally equivalent (timed bisimilar) finite Time Petri ...

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Composites of Shellac and Silver Nanowires as Flexible, Biobased, and Corrosion‐Resistant Transparent Conductive Electrodes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Shellac, a centuries‐old natural resin, is reimagined as a green material for flexible electronics. When combined with silver nanowires, shellac films deliver transparency, conductivity, and stability against humidity. These results position shellac as a sustainable alternative to synthetic polymers for transparent conductors in next‐generation ...

Strict Minimal Siphon-Based Colored Petri Net Supervisor Synthesis for Automated Manufacturing Systems With Unreliable Resources

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Various deadlock control policies for automated manufacturing systems with reliable and shared resources have been developed, based on Petri nets. In practical applications, a resource may be unreliable.

A Generic Framework for Reasoning about Dynamic Networks of Infinite-State Processes [PDF]

open access: yesLogical Methods in Computer Science, 2009
We propose a framework for reasoning about unbounded dynamic networks of infinite-state processes. We propose Constrained Petri Nets (CPN) as generic models for these networks.

Implantable Ionic Memristors Based on Natural Polymer Heterojunctions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We report an implantable natural polymer‐based ionic memristor composed of hyaluronic acid, chitosan, and PDMS. The device achieved 98.94% accuracy in MNIST classification while reducing training time by 36.8% compared with a conventional artificial neural network (ANN).

Research on state monitoring and diagnosis models for multi-state systems based on Petri nets

open access: yesResults in Engineering
Petri nets (PNs) are an effective modeling method for system fault diagnosis and monitoring. However, basic Petri nets (BPNs) cannot distinguish between different resource types and cannot determine the firing weights of transitions based on the ...
