This project developed a smart bandage‐like patch (a microneedle array) for repairing diabetic bone damage. It intelligently senses signals from infection and inflammation, then releases its medicines in a specific, timed sequence: first an antibacterial agent, then an anti‐inflammatory agent, and finally growth factors.

Colorimetric Protein Sensing Using Catalytically Amplified Sensor Arrays [PDF]
Catalytically active iron oxide nanoparticles are used as recognition elements and signal amplifiers for the array-based colorimetric sensing of proteins. Interactions between cationic monolayers on the Fe(3) O(4) NPs and analyte proteins differentially modulates the peroxidase-like activity of Fe(3) O(4) NPs, affording catalytically amplified ...

A Colorimetric Sensor for Qualitative Discrimination and Quantitative Detection of Volatile Amines
We have developed a novel colorimetric sensor based on a digital camera and white LED illumination. Colorimetric sensor arrays (CSAs) were made from a set of six chemically responsive dyes impregnated on an inert substrate plate by solution casting.

Wearable Device for Cumulative Chlorobenzene Detection and Accessible Mitigation Strategies
Chronic exposure to low concentrations of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), such as chlorobenzene, is not being monitored in industrializing countries, although VOC exposure is associated with carcinogenic, organ-toxic, and endocrine-disrupting effects.
