Observable Graphs

open access: yes, 2007
An edge-colored directed graph is \emph{observable} if an agent that moves along its edges is able to determine his position in the graph after a sufficiently long observation of the edge colors. When the agent is able to determine his position only from

Anthocyanins: From Natural Colorants to Potent Anticancer Agents

open access: yesFood Science & Nutrition
ABSTRACTCancer is a prevalent global disease affecting ~20 million individuals, and this burden causes the death of ~9.7 million people in 2024. The prevalence rate is continuously increasing due to exposure to harmful environmental and occupational contaminants (toxins and chemicals), compromised immune response, genetic modifications, and poor ...

Analysing the significance of small conformational changes and low occupancy states in serial crystallographic data

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

The structure of import tariffs in the Russian Federation : 2001-05 [PDF]

open access: yes
The Russian tariffstructure contains over 11,000 tariff lines of which about 1,700 use the so-called"combined"tariff rate system. For the combined system tariff lines, the actual tariff applied by Russian customs is the maximum of the ad valorem or ...

Screening and epitope characterization of Nidogen‐2‐specific nanobodies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Camel immunization and phage display were employed to generate high‐affinity VHH nanobodies against Nidogen‐2. After library construction, biopanning, ELISA screening, sequencing, and recombinant expression, selected nanobodies were purified and characterized, leading to the preliminary exploration of a nanobody‐based sandwich ELISA for specific ...

Molecular dynamics simulations of positively selected codons in FcγRI reveal novel biochemical binding properties

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Evolutionary analysis across 32 placental mammals identified positive selection at residues H148 and W149 in the immune receptor FcγR1. Ancestral reconstruction combined with molecular dynamics simulations reveals how these mutations may influence receptor structure and dynamics, providing insight into the evolution of antibody recognition and immune ...

Glymphatic Dysfunction Reflects Post‐Concussion Symptoms: Changes Within 1 Month and After 3 Months

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) may alter glymphatic function; however, its progression and variability remain obscure. This study examined glymphatic function following mTBI within 1 month and after 3 months post‐injury to determine whether variations in glymphatic function are associated with post‐traumatic symptom severity ...

Super‐Refractory Status Epilepticus (SRSE) in a Patient With Compound Heterozygous OPA1 Variants: Case Report and Literature Review

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Super‐Refractory Status Epilepticus (SRSE) is a rare, life‐threatening neurological emergency with unclear etiology in many cases. Mitochondrial dysfunction, often due to disease‐causing genetic variants, is increasingly recognized as a cause, with each gene producing distinct pathophysiological mechanisms.
