Applications of colour Doppler ultrasound in the diagnosis of chest diseases
Respirology, 1997Abstract Colour Doppler ultrasound (US) or colour Doppler imaging is a new imaging modality that can simultaneously display blood flow information and Doppler spectral analysis. This new technique provides an opportunity to assess pulmonary blood flow and perfusion non‐invasively.

Colour Doppler Ultrasound of the Penis
Clinical Radiology, 2003Because it is a superficial structure, the penis is ideally suited to ultrasound imaging. A number of disease processes, including Peyronie's disease, penile fractures and penile tumours, are clearly visualized with ultrasound. An assessment of priapism can also be made using spectral Doppler waveform technology.

Ultrasound and colour Doppler in infantile subglottic haemangioma
Pediatric Radiology, 2011Subglottic haemangioma causes progressive and life-threatening stridor, typically manifesting at age 2-3 months. Standard diagnosis is by laryngoscopy. Larynx sonography is rarely used but allows assessment of the presence and extension of a mass that impinges on the subglottic airway.

Quantitative colour Doppler and greyscale ultrasound for evaluating prostate cancer
Ultrasound, 2020Introduction Although transrectal ultrasound is routinely performed for imaging prostate lesions, colour Doppler imaging visualizing vascularity is not commonly used for diagnosis. The goal of this study was to measure vascular and echogenic differences between malignant and benign lesions of the prostate by ...

Colour Doppler ultrasound mapping of chest wall lesions
The British Journal of Radiology, 2005Spectral curve-analysis of arterial flow signals (FS) in patients with pulmonary lesions is able to discriminate FS of bronchial arteries (BA) from FS of pulmonary arteries (PA). In patients with chest wall lesions a different FS from that of the BA/PA can be obtained.

Ultrasound and Colour Doppler of Placental Chorioangioma with Oligohydramnios
Ultrasound, 2013Chorioangioma is the most common benign tumour of the placenta. Smaller lesions are asymptomatic but larger lesions are associated with adverse prognosis. Antenatal ultrasonography with colour Doppler is the primary modality in diagnosing these lesions and their complications.

Colour Doppler ultrasound in renal transplant artery stenosis: Which Doppler index?
Clinical Radiology, 1995A prospective study comparing colour Doppler ultrasound (US) with the 'gold standard' of intra-arterial digital subtraction angiography in the evaluation of renal transplant artery stenosis was performed. Both the intrarenal vessels and the transplant renal artery were examined by Doppler US.

Transvaginal Colour Doppler ultrasound in normal and abnormal early pregnancy
jpme, 1990The value of transvaginal colour and pulse wave Doppler in the diagnosis of pathologic early intrauterine and tubal pregnancy was assessed. Forty-one normal pregnancies, 6 blighted ovum, 6 missed abortions, and 22 suspected ectopic pregnancies (13 proven tubal pregnancies) were examined. Single 5 MHz transvaginal colour and pulse wave Doppler probe was

Colour Doppler ultrasound evaluation of orbital vessels in diabetic retinopathy
Australasian Radiology, 2007SummaryThe aim of this study was to determine the role of colour Doppler imaging in the retrobulbar vascular circulation in diabetic retinopathy (DR). Maximum (Vmax), end‐diastolic (Vmin) and average (Vmean) velocities of blood flows and pulsatility index and resistivity index (RI) in central retinal artery (CRA), short branches of posterior ciliary ...
