The synthesis and characterisation of the highly stable perovskite nano crystals and their application to ink-jet printed colour conversion layers

, 2020
We synthesised cesium lead bromide and formamidinium lead bromide perovskite colloidal nanocrystals by ligand-assisted reprecipitation method for the wide-colour gamut low-cost displays.

Colour 3D/4D Printing for Film

2022

The value of materiality and tactility is vital to enriching our experience of the world. We understand these interactions implicitly, and can see when they are portrayed incorrectly in film. CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) can seem disconnected from the actor, yet practical special effects are constrained by reality.

Colour spectrum measurement of polyaniline film

2nd International IEEE Conference on Polymers and Adhesives in Microelectronics and Photonics. POLYTRONIC 2002. Conference Proceedings (Cat. No.02EX599), 2003
The electrochromic changes of the polyaniline films during the switching from reduced to fully oxidated forms have been studied by the in situ measurement of the colour spectrum. Two-beam spectrometer is used during the protonation-deprotonation processes in electrochemical cell designed for this measurement.

Coloured inorganic‐organic films on glass

physica status solidi c, 2007
AbstractTwo kinds of inorganic‐organic hybrid materials (A and B class) were obtained in the form of thin films on glass. As starting materials were used: PhTES + TEOS (A class); PhTES + GPTMS + TBA (B class). Hybrid materials were coloured using ORASOL type dyes. The coloured coatings were put on glass by dip‐coating technique. The structure of hybrid

Filming The Colours of Infinity

2010
Film-maker Lesmoir-Gordon offers a fascinating behind-the-scenes account of how a modern cult classic came into being. The task of moving from a ‘Eureka!’ moment of understanding the Mandelbrot Sets for the first time to making a compelling and saleable film about them was beset by challenges, on technical, logistical and financial levels, but was also

Influential parameters on natural weathering under harsh climatic conditions of mechanically recycled plastic film specimens.

Journal of Environmental Management, 2019
In this work, real life reclaimed plastic solid waste (PSW) secured from the municipal sector was mechanically recycled and compounded with virgin linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE).

Colour Centres in Amorphous Tungsten Trioxide Thin Films

Physica Status Solidi (a), 1983
Magnetic, optical, and electrical properties of thin tungsten trioxide (a-WO3,) films obtained on substrates with different temperatures and annealed in air and vacuum are investigated. On the basis of these results and recent structural investigations a structure model of the a-WO3, film is given: a spatial network of tightly bounded clusters which ...

Colour Calibration in Digital Film Systems

9th Conference and Exhibition of the SMPTE Australia Section, 1999
This paper is an end-to-end discussion of calibration in digital film systems, comparing this system to the traditional film duplication process. The characteristics of colour negative films establish the requirements for scanner calibration. Digital versus film display characteristics are reviewed.
