The structure of hereditary properties and 2-coloured multigraphs
Combinatorica, 2011A graph property \(P\) is a class of graphs closed under isomorphism; it is hereditary if it is closed under the taking of induced subgraphs. It is customary to say that graphs in the class \(P\) ``have the property \(P\)''. \textit{B. Bollobás} and \textit{A. Thomason} [Combinatorica 20, No.

METRICS INDICATING PROPERTIES OF LIGHT COLOUR AND SUBJECTIVE EVALUATION OF COLOUR APPEARANCE
CIE x050:2023 Proceedings of the 30th Session of the CIE, Ljubljana, Slovenia, September 15 – 23, 2023, Volume 1, 2023In order to identify the relationship between the metrics indicating properties of light colour and subjective evaluation of colour appearance, field measurements and subjective experiments are carried out. It was shown that there are cases where general colour rendering index (Ra) is low and the Relative Gamut Area Index (Ga) is high. For RGBLED, duv

Colour rendering properties of light sources: New colour space for evaluation
Lighting Research and Technology, 1996A new colour space NC-IIIC, which is synthesized by nonlinear transformations of the tristimulus values X, Y and Z with nonlinear R-G and Y-B opponent colour response functions k1 and k2, is developed with proper correspondence to the physiological mechanisms of the visual system. This space can specify hue, lightness and chroma independently.

Optical properties, colour and turbidity
1979Insolation of the lake area varies little in consecutive years (Table 15.1) and is usually higher than in other parts of Austria (Chapter 5). The maximum Open image in new window deviation from the average of this region was five per cent during the period 1967 to 1973.

Spatial and temporal properties of infant colour vision
1996AbstractInformation processing for colour vision starts in the retinal photoreceptors and proceeds through the inner retina, the lateral geniculate nucleus, and visual cortex. At the photoreceptor level, the spectral composition of light is analysed with three cone types with different absorption spectra.

Colour-Rendering Tolerances and the Colour-Rendering Properties of Light Sources
Transactions of the Illuminating Engineering Society, 1963Good colour-rendering is defined relative to total radiator standards, and the problem of the determination of practical tolerances is outlined. Experiments are described from which a series of six spectral bands was derived, which could be used to determine colour-rendering tolerances and to classify the colour-rendering properties of a light source ...

The problem is stated and is followed by a description of methods of measuring and specifying colour and colour rendering properties, with particular reference to tubular fluorescent lamps. It has been found desirable in Great Britain to specify the colour characteristics of these light sources in terms of both their colour rendering ...

Algebraic and combinatorial properties of simple, coloured walks
2005We investigate the algebraic rules for functionally inverting a Riordan array given by means of two analytic functions. In this way, we find an extension of the Lagrange Inversion Formula and we apply it to some combinatorial problems on simple coloured walks. For some of these problems we give both an algebraic and a combinatorial proof.

The Keeping Properties of Some Colour Photographs
The Journal of Photographic Science, 1974AbstractDark storage fading of a slow and a fast colour-developed positive film, at various elevated temperatures and at two relative humidities has been measured, at the wavelengths of maximum absorption of the three component dyes. Results have been extrapolated to give rough estimates of cold storage time before perceptible colour chang~s occur ...
