Catalysis AI Agent Guides Discovering the Universal Design Principle of Cu‐Based Single‐Atom Alloy Catalysts for CO2 Electroreduction

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Artificial intelligence (AI) enables the systematic analysis and comparative evaluation of experimental and theoretical data, optimizes the catalytic reaction research workflow, and accelerates the discovery of high‐performance electrocatalysts. ABSTRACT Copper (Cu)‐based single‐atom alloys (SAAs) represent a promising strategy for optimizing the ...

Optimal Design of a Polyaniline-Coated Surface Acoustic Wave Based Humidity Sensor

open access: yesSensors, 2013
This paper presents an optimal design for a new humidity sensor composed of a dual-resonator oscillator configuration with an operation frequency of 300 MHz, and a polyaniline (PANI) coating deposited along the resonation cavity of the sensing device. To

Quantum phase-space simulations of fermions and bosons

open access: yes, 2005
We introduce a unified Gaussian quantum operator representation for fermions and bosons. The representation extends existing phase-space methods to Fermi systems as well as the important case of Fermi-Bose mixtures. It enables simulations of the dynamics

Strain‐Directed Ru Redistribution to Form RuO2/Pt Mosaic Heterointerfaces for Acid‐Stable Water Oxidation

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Strain‐driven Ru inward migration creates confined RuO2/Pt mosaic heterointerfaces within a PtNi multiframe. These interfaces enable redox‐asymmetric Pt–Ru coupling that stabilizes Ru4+, suppresses lattice oxygen participation, and promotes highly durable acidic oxygen evolution.

Minimal ATP‐Independent N2‐Reducing Systems Defined by L‐Cluster‐Bound Nitrogenase Assembly Platforms

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
Association of the L‐cluster with the nitrogenase assembly proteins NifEN (NifENL) or NifB (NifBL) intrinsically endows these proteins with N2‐reducing activity, enabling in vitro N2‐reduction by NifENL and NifBL when supplied with chemical reductants or photoexcited quantum dots while supporting in vivo N2‐fixation in NifENL‐ and NifENL‐expressing ...

Computing Maximal and Minimal Trap Spaces of Boolean Networks

open access: yes, 2015
Asymptotic behaviors are often of particular interest when analyzing Boolean networks that represent biological systems such as signal trans- duction or gene regulatory networks. Methods based on a generalization of the steady state notion, the so-called
