Simulation of the Wheel-Surface Interaction Dynamics for All-Terrain Vehicles
In this paper, a new methodology for the numerical simulation of the wheel–surface interaction has been presented. The finite-element method was combined with the discrete-element method, rigid body dynamics, and the advanced wheel–surface friction model.
