In this study, OpenPhase software is used to simulate low‐carbon bainitic steels. The lower holding temperature sample exhibits smaller and finer grains. Grain thickness measurements of bainitic ferrite from simulations align with the experimental observations at high temperature. Bainitic steels are extensively utilized across various sectors, such as

The microstructure of Cr‐rich Cr‐Si‐alloys is maintained by alloying with Ge, Pt, and Mo. The effects of these elements on A15‐phase fraction, partitioning, microstructural stability, grain size, and hardness are combinable. Molybdenum is found to be the most promising alloying element for microstructural stability during high‐temperature exposure.

A study on the relationship between vehicle operating conditions and NOx emission characteristics [PDF]
To address the challenges faced by vehicles during actual operation when passing through traffic lights or intersections, where rapid changes in operating conditions can lead to a decrease in SCR efficiency and an increase in NOx emissions, this study ...

Additive manufacturing is a promising route for the production of Ni‐base superalloys for turbine applications, such as Inconel 718. Nonetheless, it induces various changes in the microstructure and performance of these materials. One such change is the incidence of the δ‐Ni3Nb phase, whose impact on microstructure, aging precipitate fractions, and ...
