Thermal performance of a micro-combustor for micro-gas turbine system
Premixed combustion of hydrogen gas and air was performed in a stainless steel based micro-annular combustor for a micro-gas turbine system. Micro-scale combustion has proved to be stable in the micro-combustor with a gap of 2 mm.

Effects of Combustor Enclosure Flow Path on Combustor Design
Volume 4A: Combustion, Fuels, and Emissions, 2020Abstract A design optimization procedure was implemented to resize the holes of a combustor liner for practical applications. A combustor geometry evaluated without an enclosure was to be reformulated within an enclosure. The objective functions of the combustor with enclosure involved targeting the flow splits of the combustor without ...

16th AIAA/DLR/DGLR International Space Planes and Hypersonic Systems and Technologies Conference, 2009
An investigation is undertaken into the potential use of carbon-carbon materials for Scramjet combustors and configurations utilising regenerative and radiative cooling are considered. The analysis uses the ANSYS package to couple a CFD analysis of the fuel cooling with a structural thermal analysis.
