Reciprocal Green's Functions and the Quick Forecast of Storm Surges
Abstract Pre‐calculated reciprocal Green's functions are accurate and efficient for forecasting tsunamis generated by either submarine mass failures or submarine earthquakes. In the present study, reciprocal Green's functions are extended to the forecast of storm surges.

Abstract We face a new era in the assessment of multiple natural hazards whose statistics are becoming alarmingly non‐stationary due to ubiquitous long‐term changes in climate. One particular case is tsunami hazard affected by climate‐change‐driven sea level rise (SLR).

Tsunami run‐up along the Zihuatanejo region, Mexican Pacific Coast: A modelling study
Abstract A numerical hydrodynamic model was applied to Zihuatanejo Bay on the Mexican Coast of the Pacific Ocean to study the heights and arrival times of tsunamis produced by hypothetical 7.0 and 8.0 Mw magnitude earthquakes with epicenter in the Cocos Plate, at 16.9718°N–101.973°W, as well as the flooding of Zihuatanejo Town by the tsunamis.

Tsunami scenario triggered by the activity of the Mentawai Fault Zone offshore western Sumatra Island [PDF]
Subduction zones worldwide pose tsunami risks, mainly linked to megathrust activity near subduction trenches. However, tsunamis can originate from various sources, including marine volcanic eruptions, submarine landslides, and strike-slip earthquakes. In

A Study of the Optimal Deployment of Tsunami Observation Instruments in Korea [PDF]
It has been an issue among researchers that the tsunamis that occurred on the west coast of Japan in 1983 and 1993 damaged the coastal cities on the east coast of Korea. In order to predict and reduce the damage to the Korean Peninsula effectively, it is
