Bioenhancer‐Driven Modulation of Membrane Dynamics Improves B‐Vitamin Uptake in Caco‐2 Cells

open access: yesChemFoodChem, Volume 2, Issue 2, June 2026.
Natural bioenhancers such as extracts from ginger, turmeric, black pepper, and spearmint increase the uptake of vitamins B1, B5, B6, and B7 in Caco‐2 cells. Micellized formulations further increase efficacy. These findings indicate that altered membrane fluidity contributes to enhanced cellular absorption, providing a new route to improve vitamin B ...

Cattle foraging on milkweed: Intra‐seasonal herbivory shifts and implications for monarch butterfly conservation

open access: yesEcosphere, Volume 17, Issue 6, June 2026.
Abstract Managing milkweed (Asclepias spp.) is of high conservation concern due to its association with monarch butterflies (Danaus plexippus L.), which are proposed for listing under the Endangered Species Act. To counteract monarch declines, conservation goals aim to establish ≥1.6 billion nonagricultural milkweed stems within the Midwestern United ...

Toxicological Evaluation of the Undesirable Components in Processed Infant Foods Using Artificial Intelligence

open access: yesFuture Postharvest and Food, Volume 3, Issue 2, Page 185-205, June 2026.
The detection of toxins in baby food using artificial intelligence. ABSTRACT Infant foods and baby formulas are becoming increasingly popular across the globe owing to their ease of consumption and nutritional value specific to infants. Impurities may find their way into the food chain at any point from the acquisition of raw materials to final ...

Lamin B1 safeguards the B cell genome and shapes lymphoma outcome

open access: yesHemaSphere, Volume 10, Issue 6, June 2026.
Abstract Lamin B1 is a structural component of the nuclear lamina that participates in genome organization and transcriptional control. During adaptive immune responses, B lymphocytes in germinal centers (GCs) undergo clonal expansion and programmed DNA damage at immunoglobulin loci, while simultaneously downregulating Lamin B1.

Mapping Immunity With Cutting‐Edge Spatial Biology and Tissue Cytometry Innovations

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 6, June 2026.
This review explores how spatial biology integrates multiplexed imaging and tissue cytometry to reveal immune organization within native tissue contexts. ABSTRACT The immune system operates within organized tissue landscapes, where spatial relationships between cells shape the nature and outcome of immune responses.
