Commensalism of microfauna

open access: yes
It is presentation on Commensalism of microfauna in Microfauna in archaeozoological context – WS 17/18 module. For archaeological discussions three case studies were considered from existing literatures on rodents and small birds encompassing Levant Region, Tel Megiddo, Near East Region and La Mota and El Soto de Medinilla , Valladolid ...

Microbiome and aging: Trajectories of microbiome age across human ecosystems and their systemic effects

open access: yesiMeta, EarlyView.
Microbiome age (MA) has emerged as an innovative biomarker of biological aging, reflecting host aging trajectories through dynamic alterations in microbial composition, function, and host–microbe interactions across multiple body ecosystems. Diverse computational strategies—including traditional machine learning, deep learning, and multi‐omics ...

Tiny carriers, big impact: How Fusobacterium nucleatum extracellular vesicles drive oral diseases and beyond

open access: yesInterdisciplinary Medicine, EarlyView.
This review explores how Fusobacterium nucleatum extracellular vesicles drive local oral diseases and distal pathologies via sophisticated cross‐compartment cross talk. It highlights the transformative potential of these “tiny carriers” as next‐generation molecular intermediaries for advanced health monitoring and innovative bio‐interventions by ...

Ordered assembly of Cas12a for better performance of CRISPR/Cas system with application to the diagnosis of dental caries

open access: yesInterdisciplinary Medicine, EarlyView.
Here, we present a tetrahedral DNA framework (TDF)‐mediated Cas12a ordered assembly strategy. TDFs arrange CRISPR/Cas12a into ordered structures controllably, enhancing catalytic efficiency through localized Cas12a hotspots while maintaining spatial intervals to facilitate substrate diffusion.
