On-flight characterization of the SMOS payload during the commissioning phase

2009 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium, 2009
The SMOS in-orbit commissioning phase will start at launching and will last about 6 months. During this phase an extensive activity will start, particularly aimed at providing full confidence on the products that the mission will produce during its operational phase. As part of this activity, the payload MIRAS will be fully characterized using specific

Report on SuperKEKB Phase 2 Commissioning

2018
The SuperKEKB electron-positron collider is being commissioned at KEK in three phases. The first phase was successfully completed in 2016, focusing on vacuum scrubbing and single beam studies without final focus optics. The second phase will start in March 2018 and until mid of July 2018. It will be dedicated to achieving the target specific luminosity

Commissioning of the Phase 2 and Phase 3 SuperKEKB / B-Factory

2019
The next generation of B-Factory, the SuperKEKB electron-positron collider at KEK (Japan) has started after two years shutdown from the Phase 1 commissioning in 2016. The first phase for the vacuum scrubbing in 2016 and the second phase focused on the verification of the novel "nano-beam" collision scheme were successfully completed in 2018.

The Belle II/SuperKEKB Commissioning Detector - Results from the First Commissioning Phase

2018
The SuperKEKB energy-asymmetric e\(^+\)e\(^-\) collider has now started commissioning and is working towards its design luminosity of \(8 \times 10^{35}\) cm\(^{-2}\)s\(^{-1}\). In spring 2016, SuperKEKB circulated beams in both rings during the first phase of commissioning, with the Belle II detector at the roll-out position.
