Research on the Performance of the Autoclaved Fly Ash Common Brick

Advanced Materials Research, 2012
Based on the experimental study foundation of setting altogether 10 bearing axially loaded long column of the autoclaved fly ash solid bricks. We had a comparative analysis on the fly-ash common brick with existing norms. At last, we get that ultimate bearing experimental value of autoclaved fly ash-lime brick masonry is higher than Theoretical ...

Micropropagation of Fraxinus excelsior L. (Common Ash)

1997
Fraxinus (family Oleaceae), also called ash, is a genus of about 65 species of deciduous trees and a few shrubs, scattered over the cool temperate parts of the Northern Hemisphere (Harrison 1967; Savill 1991). Ashes are rugged trees which build themselves up into fairly large, strongly branched structures, well known for their black winter buds, for ...

Regeneration of shoots from embryo hypocotyls of common ash (Fraxinus excelsior)

Plant Cell Reports, 1992
The addition of thidiazuron (TDZ) to MS salts and vitamins, instead of benzylaminopurine (BAP) increased both the culture weight and the proportion of ash embryo hypocotyl explants that produced adventitious shoots. The concentration of BAP, but not that of TDZ also affected these parameters.

Fraxinus excelsior L. (Common Ash)

1996
Fraxinus (family Oleaceae) is a genus of approximately 50 species of hardwood trees and shrubs found in Europe, N. Africa, W. Asia and N. America. Although there are several Fraxinus spp. growing in Europe, only common ash (F. excelsior L.) is found in woodlands in the British Isles (Fig. la). Important North American species include F.

Concrete with High Content of Fly-Ash for Common Use in the Czech Republic

Advanced Materials Research, 2014
Concrete with high substitute of the cement with fly-ash (FAC) is favourably used for structures with undesirable development of hydration heat or where reduction of the share of Portland clinker in the adhesive provides better resistance of concrete against impacts of acidic aggressive environment.
