Minimally invasive surgical approach for abdominoscrotal hydrocele treatment: A case report

open access: yesCurrent Urology
. Abdominoscrotal hydrocele (ASH) is a rare clinical finding comprising fluid collection between the layers of the tunica vaginalis, extending from the scrotum to the abdominal cavity. At present, there is no unique or recommended management for ASH, and

Potent Liver‐Tropic mRNA Lipid Nanoparticles: ApoE‐Mediated Delivery Through a Low‐Density Lipoprotein Receptor Independent Uptake Mechanism

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Helper and ionizable lipids play a crucial role in determining ApoE binding and subsequent liver tropism and LDLR‐mediated uptake. Ionizable lipids primarily govern the LDLR‐independent uptake pathway. This complementary interplay between lipid components ultimately governs LNP delivery performance and therapeutic efficacy in the liver.

Individual resistance of Fraxinus angustifolia and F. excelsior clones to Hymenoscyphus fraxineus

open access: yesJournal of Plant Protection Research, 2018
Ash dieback, caused by Hymenoscyphus fraxineus, is a serious disease of common and narrow-leaved ash in Europe. The resistance of individual trees seems to be important for the maintenance of ash in European forests.

Young children's perspectives of time: New directions for co‐constructing understandings of quality in ECEC

open access: yesBritish Educational Research Journal, EarlyView., 2023
Abstract Children's relationship with time in preschools is an under‐researched area. Young children rarely know how to measure time using a clock, but their experiences of time may contribute to understanding children's well‐being and debates about quality in preschools.

Visible‐Light Photoprogrammable Transistors Enabled by an All‐Organic Triplet‐Sensitized Diarylethene Channel Layer

open access: yesAdvanced Optical Materials, EarlyView.
All‐organic channel‐layer OFETs are shown to enable visible‐light photoprogramming via triplet‐sensitized diarylethene switching. Preferential localization of the photoswitch and organic sensitizer in intercrystalline amorphous domains preserves polymer crystalline packing while ensuring short‐range Dexter‐type triplet–triplet energy transfer and solid‐

Advancing Dry Electroencephalography With Scalable, Soft, and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation‐Compatible Ti3C2Tx MXene Electrodes for Research and Clinical‐Grade Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Dry soft Ti3C2Tx MXene electroencephalography (EEG) electrodes provide low impedance (2.1 ± 1.8 kΩ at 10 Hz), long‐term stability, and enable safe simultaneous EEG and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). Across scalp sites, hair types, and recording paradigms, including steady state visual evoked potentials (SSVEP), clinical EEG, and mobile EEG ...
