Enteropathogenic E. coli shows delayed attachment and host response in human jejunum organoid‐derived monolayers compared to HeLa cells

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

C*-Algebra Valued Fuzzy Soft Metric Spaces and Results for Hybrid Pair of Mappings

open access: yesAxioms, 2019
In this paper, we establish some results on coincidence point and common fixed point theorems for a hybrid pair of single valued and multivalued mappings in complete C * -algebra valued fuzzy soft metric spaces.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Common coupled fixed point results in multiplicative metric spaces and applications

open access: yesThe Journal of Nonlinear Sciences and Applications, 2017
Summary: In the framework of a multiplicative metric space, by using the concept of \(w^*\)-compatible mappings, we establish some new common coupled fixed point theorems for two mappings satisfying \(\phi\)-type contractive condition. We do not use the condition of continuity of any mapping for finding the coupled coincidence and common coupled fixed ...

Common coupled fixed point theorems on cone b-metric-like space

open access: yesIOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering, 2020
Abstract In this paper, cone b-metric-like space is an extension of cone metric space, b-metric space and metric-like space. In this space, two functions have an unique common couple fixed point if they are w-compatible. Some examples are given to explain these new results.

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Coupled Coincidence and Common Fixed Point Theorems in Menger PM Spaces

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Mathematical Research, 2012
Recently Many results on coupled xed point theory exist in the literature, for more de-tails, one can see in [2,11,22]. We established coupled coincidence and common xed point theoremsfor two self mixed g-monotone mappings in the settings of Menger PM-spaces.

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Coupled Fixed Point Theorems under Weak Contractions

open access: yesDiscrete Dynamics in Nature and Society, 2012
Cho et al. [Comput. Math. Appl. 61(2011), 1254–1260] studied common fixed point theorems on cone metric spaces by using the concept of c-distance. In this paper, we prove some coupled fixed point theorems in ordered cone metric spaces by using the ...

A Common Coupled Fixed Point Theorem in Complex Valued Metric Space

open access: yesInternational Journal of Computer Applications, 2015
The aim of this paper is to establish a unique common coupled fixed point theorem for two mappings satisfying a rational inequality in complex valued metric space.
