Entomologia Experimentalis et Applicata, EarlyView.Female Bombus vestalis cuckoo bumblebees were introduced to a flight arena containing four identical opaque boxes, featuring slits to release volatiles from the bumblebees inside. When only one box contained a developing host colony, the cuckoos were able to locate their hosts among the four boxes with 66.2% accuracy.
