On split common null point and common fixed point problems for multivalued demicontractive mappings

open access: yesDemonstratio Mathematica
In this paper, we study a new inertial algorithm for finding a common solution of the split common null point problem for two infinite families of maximal monotone operators and common fixed point problem for an infinite family of multivalued ...

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

The Existence of Cone Critical Point and Common Fixed Point with Applications

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2011
We first establish some new critical point theorems for nonlinear dynamical systems in cone metric spaces or usual metric spaces, and then we present some applications to generalizations of Dancš-Hegedüs-Medvegyev's principle and the existence theorem ...

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

(C , Ψ * , G ) Class of Contractions and Fixed Points in a Metric Space Endowed with a Graph

open access: yesMathematics, 2019
In this paper, we introduce the ( C , Ψ * , G ) class of contraction mappings using C-class functions and some improved control functions for a pair of set valued mappings as well as a pair of single-valued mappings, and prove common fixed ...

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Common Fixed Point Theorems for Four Fuzzy Mappings

open access: yesInternational Journal of Analysis and Applications, 2014
In this paper, we obtain some common fixed point theorems for four fuzzy mappings in complete ordered metric linear spaces. These mappings are assumed to satisfy certain contractive inequality involving functions which are generalizations of altering ...

Algorithms for solving common fixed point problems

open access: yes, 2018
This book details approximate solutions to common fixed point problems and convex feasibility problems in the presence of perturbations. Convex feasibility problems search for a common point of a finite collection of subsets in a Hilbert space; common ...

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.
