Some common fixed point results for rational type contraction mappings in partially ordered metric spaces [PDF]
summary:The purpose of this paper is to establish some common fixed point results for $f$-nondecreasing mappings which satisfy some nonlinear contractions of rational type in the framework of metric spaces endowed with a partial order.

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Common Fixed Points and Best Approximation
The subject of the fixed points of different systems is an intensively studied domain. It is also the case in the paper under review, which main purposes are to prove a fixed-point theorem generalizing results of Dotson and Habiniak and to extend, to generalize and unify these results on fixed points and common fixed points of best approximation.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

On some fixed point results in b-metric, rectangular and b-rectangular metric spaces
In this paper we consider, discuss, improve and generalize recent fixed point results for mappings in b-metric, rectangular metric and b-rectangular metric spaces established by Đukić et al. (2011), George and Rajagopalan (2013) and Roshan et al. (2015).

A common fixed point for weak øcontractions on b-metric spaces
In this paper, we give a common fixed point result for single-valued and multi-valued mappings satisfying a weak Øcontraction in b-metric spaces. Presented theorems extend, generalize and improve some existing results in the literature. Some examples are

Common fixed points for (ψ,α,β)-weakly contractive mappings in generalized metric spaces
We establish some common fixed point theorems for mappings satisfying a (?, ?, ?)-weakly contractive condition in generalized metric spaces. Presented theorems extend and generalize many existing results in the literature.

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.
