ABSTRACT Background Families of children with cancer experience significant financial strain, even with universal healthcare. Indirect costs, such as productivity losses and non‐medical expenses, are rarely included in economic evaluations, and little is known about how effectively financial aid programmes alleviate this burden. Childhood brain tumours

Common random fixed points of compatible random operators
We construct a random iteration scheme and study necessary conditions for its convergence to a common random fixed point of two pairs of compatible random operators satisfying Meir-Keeler type conditions in Polish spaces. Some random fixed point theorems

Common fixed point and common coupled fixed point theorems for weakly monotone mappings
In this paper we have established two common fixed point theorems which are variants of the fixed point theorem of Boyd and Wong [On nonlinear contractions, Proc. Amer. Math. Soc. 20(1969), 458-464]. By applying the newly established fixed point theorems two common coupled fixed point theorems have been proved for a pair of weakly increasing mappings ...

ABSTRACT Introduction Patients with ovarian cancer often present with massive ascites, leading to significant protein loss during surgical procedures. Although cell‐free concentrated ascites reinfusion therapy (CART) is used in palliative settings to mitigate protein loss, its application in intraoperative settings remains unexplored.

Generalized Common Fixed Point Results with Applications [PDF]
We obtained some generalized common fixed point results in the context of complex valued metric spaces. Moreover, we proved an existence theorem for the common solution for two Urysohn integral equations. Examples are presented to support our results.

ABSTRACT Secondary hyperparathyroidism (SHPT) is a common complication in patients receiving maintenance dialysis, driven by calcium and phosphate metabolism disturbances. Calcimimetics are central to the management of SHPT by enhancing calcium‐sensing receptor sensitivity and reducing parathyroid hormone secretion.

Common fixed points of single-valued and multivalued maps
We define a new property which contains the property (EA) for a hybrid pair of single- and multivalued maps and give some new common fixed point theorems under hybrid contractive conditions. Our results extend previous ones.

Common fixed points for alpha-psi-phi-contractions in generalized metric spaces
We establish some common fixed point theorems for mappings satisfying an α-ψ-ϕ-contractive condition in generalized metric spaces. Presented theorems extend and generalize many existing results in the literature.

Common fixed points for Lipschitzian semigroups
Summary: \textit{T.--C.\ Lim} and \textit{H.--K.\ Xu} [Nonlinear Anal., Theory Methods Appl.\, 25, No.\,11, 1231--1235 (1995; Zbl 0845.47045)] established a fixed point theorem for uniformly Lipschitzian mappings in metric spaces with uniform normal structure. Recently, \textit{Y.--Y.\,Huang} and \textit{C.--C.\,Hong} [Int.\, J.\, Math.\, Math.\, Sci.\,

ABSTRACT Introduction Adult‐onset Still's disease (AOSD) complicated by macrophage activation syndrome (MAS) carries substantial mortality. The role of therapeutic plasma exchange (TPE) remains uncertain. Methods We retrospectively analyzed patients with AOSD‐MAS treated with TPE at a single‐center.
