Implementation of an Active Common Mode EMI Filter Considering High Conducted Differential Mode EMI in Electric Vehicle On-Board Chargers

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of Power Electronics
Conducted and radiated Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) is of major concern in automotive On-Board Chargers (OBCs). Passive EMI Filters (PEFs) occupy a significant amount of space, whereas especially magnetic components like Common Mode Chokes (CMCs ...

Molecular characterization of covRS mutations in M1UK Streptococcus pyogenes

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Group A Streptococcus (GAS) acquires covRS mutations driving a hypervirulent bacterial state, frequently associated with invasive disease‐like necrotizing fasciitis. We demonstrate that the newly emerged M1UK GAS lineage can also acquire these mutations.

Common-Mode EMI Reduction in Switching Flyback Power Supply by Implementing Cancellation Method of Heat-Sink Capacitor [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Intelligent Procedures in Electrical Technology, 2015
Electromagnetic compatibility in switching power converters which are noise sources themselves, has a special importance. Electromagnetic interference (EMI) in the form of conducted or radiated reaches to sensitive sections and interferes with their ...

Mitigation Conducted Emission Strategy Based on Transfer Function from a DC-Fed Wireless Charging System for Electric Vehicles

open access: yesEnergies, 2018
The large dv/dt and di/dt outputs of power devices in wireless charging system (WCS) in electric vehicles (EVs) always introduce conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI) emissions. This paper proposes a mitigation conducted emission strategy based on

Hyperosmotic stress‐induced redistribution of pre‐mRNA cleavage factor I subunits is associated with shifts in alternative polyadenylation

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Hyperosmotic stress triggers the relocation of the CFIm complex from the nucleus to the cytoplasm. This shift creates a nuclear ‘stoichiometric bottleneck’, limiting CFIm availability for mRNA processing. Consequently, specific mRNAs like NUDT21 and DICER1 undergo targeted 3′UTR shortening, demonstrating how spatial protein dynamics drive rapid ...

Effects of IGFBP4 deficiency on human preadipocyte proliferation and differentiation through the IGF1R/AKT pathway

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
IGFBP4 knockdown (KD) impairs preadipocyte proliferation and is associated with IGF1R protein downregulation and attenuated AKT phosphorylation. The mechanisms by which IGFBP4 KD influences the IGF1R/AKT signaling pathway involve newly synthesized proteins and lysosomal degradation pathways. Created in BioRender.

Compact Balanced Substrate Integrated Waveguide Filter With Low Insertion Loss

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
A balanced substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) filter is proposed by etching transverse slots on the top surface. The SIW structures between each two adjacent slots are resonators operating at TE20δ mode for differential-mode (DM) operation and ...

Importin 7 mediates the nuclear import of HIV‐1 integrase via a specific interacting interface

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
HIV‐1 integrase enables viral DNA integration into the host genome. By binding to the core domain of the host protein Importin 7 via its C‐terminal domain, the integrase is transported across the nuclear membrane into the nucleus, where integration of the viral genome into host DNA takes place. This translocation is a critical step for subsequent viral

Common mode far field radiation mechanisms and prediction of a buck converter with cables based on common mode voltage mutation method

open access: yesIET Power Electronics
In the field of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) research, the knowledge of the formation mechanism of the far field electromagnetic radiation and its prediction is essential for the electromagnetic noise suppression design of a switched mode power ...

A General Transformer Evaluation Method for Common-Mode Noise Behavior

open access: yesEnergies, 2019
In isolated power converters, the transformer is a key part of voltage transformation and isolation. Since common-mode (CM) noise is rather difficult to suppress compared with different-mode (DM) noise, more and more scholars are paying attention to the ...
