An ECG/EEG Common Mode Rejection Ratio Analyzer
Journal of Clinical Engineering, 1982An ECG/EEG common-mode rejection ratio analyzer is discussed and its method of operation is analyzed. In addition to easily performed common-mode rejection ratio tests, this instrument also can perform linearity, frequency response and sweep-speed tests.

Analysis of random common-mode rejection ratio in op-amps
[1992] Proceedings of the 35th Midwest Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2003One of the important nonideal factors causing op-amp errors is the common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR). The CMRR of CMOS op-amps and its statistical characteristics are thoroughly analyzed. The random and deterministic CMRR of a two-stage CMOS op-amp are derived. The statistical characteristics of the total CMRR are discussed.

An Improved Gain Perturbation Method for Common-Mode Rejection Ratio Analysis
2017 International Conference on Computer Systems, Electronics and Control (ICCSEC), 2017Common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) analysis in analytical form requires a careful treatment on the differential component in an operational amplifier (opamp) circuit. If not carefully modeled, inaccurate numerical result will be generated. In this work we improve an existing gain perturbation method by introducing a systematic procedure and show the ...

Nonideal factors which play a key role in performance and yield in high-precision applications of operational amplifiers are rigorously investigated. The combined effects of both deterministic and statistical parameters must be incorporated. The statistical characteristics of the common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) and the offset of two-stage CMOS op ...

Controllable common-mode transmission zero is proposed to improve the common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) inside the differential-mode passband of differential bandpass filters. With the controllability of the common-mode transmission zero, the common-mode transmission zero can be moved into the frequency range of the differential-mode passband, and ...

Characterization of the common mode rejection ratio of amorphous silicon balanced photodiode
physica status solidi c, 2010AbstractIn this work we report on the detailed characterization of an amorphous silicon/amorphous silicon carbide balanced photodiode structure suitable for differential photocurrent measurements. The device is a three‐terminal structure constituted by two series‐connected amorphous silicon p‐i‐n photodiodes.

Integrated balun bandpass filter design with an optimal common mode rejection ratio
2011 IEEE 61st Electronic Components and Technology Conference (ECTC), 2011This paper describes a compact transformer-coupled balun bandpass filter design based on integrated passive device technology. Using a planar transformer with high-density fully symmetrical wiring not only greatly reduces the component size but also provides a superior balance at the differential output ports. In addition, applying the tapped feed-line

Common-mode rejection-ratio analysis using the adjoint network
IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems, 1974The computational effort involved in differential-amplifier common-mode rejection-ratio (CMRR) calculations may be reduced by using the adjoint network to obtain the network sensitivities required for the CMRR determination.

Analysis of Dynamic Common Mode Rejection Ratio of Balanced Uni-Traveling-Carrier Photodetectors
Asia Communications and Photonics Conference, 2017The parameters affecting both static and dynamic common mode rejection ratio (CMRR) performance of balanced uni-traveling-carrier photodetectors have been investigated. The differences in device sizes and ohmic contact are the key parameters on the CMRR.

A Highly Linear Operational Transconductance Amplifier (OTA) with High Common Mode Rejection Ratio
2010 International Conference on Signal Acquisition and Processing, 2010This paper presents a highly linear Operational Transconductance Amplifier (OTA) that combines two linearization techniques, one with adaptive biasing of differential pairs and second with using of resistive source degeneration. OTA has ±0.9v power supply and consumes 456 µw.
