Emerging Epidemic of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) in South Asia: Opportunities for Prevention
Chronic non-communicable diseases (NCDs), primarily heart disease, stroke, diabetes, cancers, and chronic respiratory diseases have become a major global health burden accounting for 60% of death worldwide. About 80% of these deaths occur in low income countries having a huge negative economic impact in these resource poor countries.

Active Learning‐Accelerated Discovery of Fibrous Hydrogels with Tissue‐Mimetic Viscoelasticity
Active learning accelerates the design of fibrous hydrogels that mimic the viscoelasticity of native tissues. By integrating multi‐objective optimization and closed‐loop experimentation, this approach efficiently identifies optimal formulations from thousands of possibilities and decouples elasticity and viscosity. The resulting hydrogels offer tunable

An Edible H2O2 Biosensor for Gastrointestinal Metabolites and Peroxidase Enzyme Quantification
We present an edible biosensor for gastric fluid analysis that integrates a caffeic acid–horseradish peroxidase redox system into an edible electrolyte‐gated transistor. The device enables rapid, low‐volume detection of H2O2 and, with minimal modification, metabolites and enzyme activity in simulated gastrointestinal conditions.
