Holomorphic Poisson Cohomology
Holomorphic Poisson structures arise naturally in the realm of generalized geometry. A holomorphic Poisson structure induces a deformation of the complex structure in a generalized sense, whose cohomology is obtained by twisting the Dolbeault @-operator ...

Bounded automorphism groups of compact complex surfaces [PDF]
Abstract We classify compact complex surfaces whose groups of bimeromorphic selfmaps have bounded finite subgroups. We also prove that the stabilizer of a point in the automorphism group of a compact complex surface of zero Kodaira dimension, as well as the stabilizer of a point in the automorphism group of an arbitrary compact Kähler

A FUSION-BASED WORKFLOW FOR TURNING SLAM POINT CLOUDS AND FISHEYE DATA INTO TEXTURE-ENHANCED 3D MODELS [PDF]
Mobile mapping systems are increasingly developing ad hoc solution and integrated approaches for rapid and accurate 3D digitization in different operating environments belonging to built heritage assets. The use of emerging compact, portable and low-cost

On compact complex surfaces of Kähler rank one [PDF]
The Kähler rank of compact complex surfaces was introduced by Harvey and Lawson in their 1983 paper on Kähler manifolds as a measure of “kählerianity”. Here we give a partial classification of compact complex surfaces of Kähler rank 1. These are either elliptic surfaces, or Hopf surfaces, or they admit a holomorphic foliation of a very special type.

iCrawl: An Inchworm-Inspired Crawling Robot
Inchworms use their morphology and evolved behaviors to crawl and climb various complex surfaces. This has inspired the development of different robots that can demonstrate similar capabilities for various applications such as the inspection of a complex

Some properties of Grauert type surfaces [PDF]
In a previous work, we classified weakly complete surfaces which admit a real analytic plurisubharmonic exhaustion function; we showed that, if they are not proper over a Stein space, then they admit a pluriharmonic function, with compact Levi-flat level

Automorphisms of surfaces of general type with q>=2 acting trivially in cohomology [PDF]
A compact complex manifold X is said to be rationally cohomologically rigidified if its automorphism group Aut(X) acts faithfully on the cohomology ring H*(X,Q).

Almost quarter-pinched K\"ahler metrics and Chern numbers [PDF]
We prove that compact K\"ahler manifolds whose sectional curvatures are close to 1/4-pinched have ratios of Chern numbers close to the corresponding ratios of a complex hyperbolic space form.
