The abstract, multidimensional varieties and their classification
We define abstract multidimensional variety without borders, using the investigation of the complex of multi-ary relations (H. Martini and P. Soltan, 2003 [3]) and the notion of compact, combinatorial, multidimensional variety without borders (V.

Towards refining the topological strings on compact Calabi-Yau 3-folds
We make a proposal for calculating refined Gopakumar-Vafa numbers (GVN) on elliptically fibered Calabi-Yau 3-folds based on refined holomorphic anomaly equations. The key examples are smooth elliptic fibrations over (almost) Fano surfaces.

A Note on Poly-Instanton Effects in Type IIB Orientifolds on Calabi-Yau Threefolds
The zero mode structure for the generation of poly-instanton corrections for Euclidian D3-branes wrapping complex surfaces in Type IIB orientifolds with O7- and O3-planes is analyzed. Working examples of such surfaces and explicit embeddings into compact

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

Holomorphic Poisson Cohomology [PDF]
A holomorphic Poisson structure induces a deformation of the complex structure as Hitchin's generalized geometry. Its associated cohomology naturally appears as the limit of a spectral sequence of a double complex.

Meromorphic vector fields with single-valued solutions on complex surfaces
We study ordinary differential equations in the complex domain given by meromorphic vector fields on K\"ahler compact complex surfaces. We prove that if such an equation has a maximal single valued solution with Zariski-dense image (in particular, if it ...

Minimal Kernels and Compact Analytic Objects in Complex Surfaces [PDF]
In this paper, we want to study the link between the presence of compact objects with some analytic structure and the global geometry of a weakly complete surface. We begin with a brief survey of some now classic results on the local geometry around a (complex) curve, which depends on the sign of its self-intersection and, in the flat case, on some ...
