Characterizing the Star Cluster Populations in Stephan’s Quintet Using HST and JWST Observations
Stephan’s Quintet (SQ) is a local compact galaxy group system that exhibits significant star formation activity. A history of tidal interactions between its four member galaxies and a recent collision between an intruder galaxy and the original group are

On the center of a compact group [PDF]
We prove a conjecture due to Baumgartel and Lledo (1) according to which for every compact group G one has ( Z(G) ∼ C(G), where the 'chain group' C(G) is the free abelian group (written multiplicatively) generated by the set b G of isomorphism classes of

Aquaporin‐3 and aquaporin‐5 impact the development of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma spheroids
Schematic representation of the role of aquaporin‐3 (AQP3) and aquaporin‐5 (AQP5) in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). Both proteins are upregulated in PDAC and are associated with tumor progression and metastatic potential. Silencing AQP3 or AQP5 in PDAC spheroids results in decreased diameter, area, and overall growth, underscoring their key ...

Лингвистическая таксономия: компактность языковых подгрупп, групп и семей
LINGUISTIC TAXONOMY: DENSITY OF LANGUAGE SUBGROUPS, GROUPS AND FAMILIESSummaryLanguage subgroups, groups, families and unities were investigated from the point of view of their dispersion in the way it was first proposed in (Тамбовцев 1986).

Small RNA pathways in mammalian oocytes
Three distinct small RNA pathways operate in mammalian oocytes: RNAi interference (RNAi), the microRNA (miRNA) pathway, and the PIWI‐associated RNA (piRNA) pathway. These pathways use small RNAs to guide sequence‐specific repression and contribute to oocyte biology by targeting genes and mobile elements or appear insignificant since different ...

Almost invariant submanifolds for compact group actions [PDF]
.We define a C1 distance between submanifolds of a riemannian manifold M and show that, if a compact submanifold N is not moved too much under the isometric action of a compact group G, there is a G-invariant submanifold C1-close to N. The proof involves

Effect of terahertz irradiation on DNA damage repair in living cells
We investigated the effect of terahertz (THz) wave irradiation on DNA double‐strand break (DSB) repair in living cells. We found that THz irradiation enhanced DSB repair at specific frequencies, whereas heat treatment inhibited it, indicating that this effect is nonthermal and frequency‐specific.

A countably compact free Abelian group whose size has countable cofinality
Based on some set-theoretical observations, compactness results are given for general hit-and-miss hyperspaces. Compactness here is sometimes viewed splitting into “k-Lindelöfness” and ”k-compactness” for cardinals k.
