Multipliers on compact groups [PDF]
We give some sufficient conditions for a function on a compact totally disconnected abelian group to be an L p

ANY COMPACT GROUP IS A GAUGE GROUP [PDF]
The assignment of the local observables in the vacuum sector, fulfilling the standard axioms of local quantum theory, is known to determine uniquely a compact group G of gauge transformations of the first kind together with a central involutive element k of G, and a complete normal algebra of fields carrying the localizable charges, on which k defines

Orthogonal Polynomials of Compact Simple Lie Groups
Recursive algebraic construction of two infinite families of polynomials in n variables is proposed as a uniform method applicable to every semisimple Lie group of rank n.

The Origin of Intergalactic Light in Compact Groups of Galaxies
We investigate the origin of intergalactic light (IGL) in close groups of galaxies. IGL is hypothesized to be the byproduct of interaction and merger within compact groups.

Automorphisms of locally compact groups [PDF]
It is proved that for arbitrary locally compact groups G the automorphism group Aut (G) is a complete topological group. Several conditions equivalent to closedness of the group Int (G) of inner automorphisms are given, such as G admits no nontrivial central sequences. It is shown that Aut (G) is topologically embedded in the automorphism group Aut^(G)

Quantum stochastic convolution cocycles III [PDF]
The theory of quantum Levy processes on a compact quantum group, and more generally quantum stochastic convolution cocycles on a C*-bialgebra, is extended to locally compact quantum groups and multiplier C*-bialgebras.

DEFINABLY COMPACT ABELIAN GROUPS [PDF]
Let M be an o-minimal expansion of a real closed field. Let G be a definably compact definably connected abelian n-dimensional group definable in M. We show the following: the o-minimal fundamental group of G is isomorphic to ℤn; for each k>0, the k-torsion subgroup of G is isomorphic to (ℤ/kℤ)n, and the o-minimal cohomology algebra over ℚ of G is ...

AUTOMORPHISM GROUPS OF MAPS, SURFACES AND SMARANDACHE GEOMETRIES [PDF]
Automorphism groups survey similarities on mathematical systems, which appear nearly in all mathematical branches, such as those of algebra, combinatorics, geometry, · · · and theoretical physics, theoretical chemistry, etc..

Hamiltonian actions of unipotent groups on compact K\"ahler manifolds [PDF]
We study meromorphic actions of unipotent complex Lie groups on compact K\"ahler manifolds using moment map techniques. We introduce natural stability conditions and show that sets of semistable points are Zariski-open and admit geometric quotients that ...
