Enhancing the quality of elastane-cotton core yarn by compact spinning [PDF]
The quest for highly stretchable fabrics with good aesthetic and functional properties has led researchers to constantly involve in mingling of natural and synthetic fibers.

Spinning compact object and chaos in galactic centres [PDF]
Galactic centres are extremely complex environments, formed primarily of a supermassive black hole (SMBH), which is surrounded by asymmetric mass distributions comprised of nuclear star clusters (NSC), molecular gas, etc forming disks or halos.

Benchtop High-MAS NMR for Paramagnetic Materials [PDF]
We report a compact benchtop solid-state NMR platform that achieves 50 kHz magic-angle spinning (MAS) in a 1.4 T permanent magnet with an 18 mm bore, enabling high-speed MAS under extremely space-constrained conditions.

A Comparison Study of Yarns Produced by Ring Spinning System, For Native and Foreign Cotton Types [PDF]
The garment's end used depends on the fabric properties, whilst the fabric property depends on the properties of the constituent yarn. Therefore, with the diversification of the market, spinners are forced to produce quality yarn.

Fabrication of Low-Twist and High-Strength Metallic Fibre Hybrid Spun Yarns
Stainless-steel fibre hybrid spun yarns are becoming increasingly popular due to their wide range of applications. In this aspect, the cost-effective and scalable processing of such yarns is highly important.

Lateral compact spinning with pneumatic groove is a spinning process to gather fibers by common actions of airflow and mechanical forces. Compared with ring spinning, it can more effectively reduce yarn hairiness and enhance yarn strength. However, fiber

Tailoring non-compact spin chains [PDF]
We study three-point correlation functions of local operators in planar $\mathcal{N}=4$ SYM at weak coupling using integrability. We consider correlation functions involving two scalar BPS operators and an operator with spin, in the so called SL(2) sector. At tree level we derive the corresponding structure constant for any such operator.

Eccentric motion of spinning compact binaries [PDF]
The equations of motion for spinning compact binaries on eccentric orbits are treated perturbatively in powers of a fractional mass-difference ordering parameter. The solution is valid through first order in the mass-difference parameter. A canonical point transformation removes the leading order terms of the spin-orbit Hamiltonian which induce a ...

NLO gravitational quartic-in-spin interaction
In this paper we derive for the first time the complete gravitational quartic-in-spin interaction of generic compact binaries at the next-to-leading order in the post-Newtonian (PN) expansion.
