This review examines how cellular behavior is regulated by mechanical cues transmitted through soft biomaterials, from single‐cell mechanosensing to tissue‐level adaptation. It highlights why physiological relevance, rather than model complexity alone, is critical for translational mechanobiology and introduces a scoring framework linking material ...

Spinning particles around Einstein-geometric Proca AdS compact objects
We investigate the dynamics of spinning test particles in the vicinity of Einstein-geometric Proca (EGP) Anti-de Sitter (AdS) compact objects, which arise from metric-Palatini gravity extended by the antisymmetric part of the affine curvature.

Rare‐Earth–Functionalized Carbon Dot Hydrogels as Mechanically Robust Antibacterial Wound Dressings
The schematic depicts a dynamically cross‐linked PVA hydrogel network in which reversible borate ester bonds and hydrogen‐bonding interactions integrate lanthanum‐doped carbon dots (La‐CDs) and dipotassium glycyrrhizinate (DPG) to form a mechanically robust, multifunctional matrix.

X-ray emission from hot subdwarfs with compact companions
We review the X-ray observations of hot subdwarf stars. While no X-ray emission has been detected yet from binaries containing B-type subdwarfs, interesting results have been obtained in the case of the two luminous O-type subdwarfs HD 49798 and BD + 37°

Opportunities of Semiconducting Oxide Nanostructures as Advanced Luminescent Materials in Photonics
The review discusses the challenges of wide and ultrawide bandgap semiconducting oxides as a suitable material platform for photonics. They offer great versatility in terms of tuning microstructure, native defects, doping, anisotropy, and micro‐ and nano‐structuring. The review focuses on their light emission, light‐confinement in optical cavities, and

Gaussian dominance on compact spin manifolds
Abstract The low temperature regime of continuous spin models is discussed. The relevance of the weak coupling expansion for the calculation of invariant Green's functions is analyzed. Notably it is found that in two dimensions Green's functions of invariant operators cannot be computed perturbatively.
